I've been building for the web for over 15 years. In that time, I've watched countless developers launch personal sites with big ambitions -- only to abandon them within months. Life gets busy. Content goes stale. The site becomes a digital ghost town.
So why am I building one?
Because despite all the abandoned blogs out there, the engineers I respect most share what they know. They write about hard problems they've solved, lessons they've learned, and opinions they've formed through experience. A personal site isn't about traffic or SEO. It's about thinking in public.
What I'm doing here
This site is where I share what I've learned across 15+ years of building software -- from writing PHP and Ruby on Rails to leading engineering teams building products in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web architectures.
I write about engineering leadership, team building, frontend architecture, and the craft of software development. Some posts are technical deep-dives. Some are hard-won leadership lessons. All of them come from real experience.
Who this is for
If you're an engineer growing into leadership, or a senior developer trying to figure out what comes next -- this is for you. If you're early in your career and want to understand how experienced engineers think -- welcome.
I'm not trying to be everything to everyone. I'm sharing what I know, as directly as I can.
